Programing true tone for iPhone 8-XS Max also works without using the old display; (Caution: repairing the true tone function on iPhone 8 and 8+ / XS and XS Max without the original display requires the front facing camera / face id to be original! For the iPhone 12 Series the true tone data can only be fixed in the original display, however the true tone function cannot be recovered yet.)

Caution: The warning message, that there is no original display in the device, which appears after changing the display, cannot be removed with this programmer.
